Stuperbowl Sunday

Well, the "big game" is finally over and the Pittsburgh Steelers got their 6th Superbowl win and it was possibly the most interesting game in years.  The game which was dubbed the "Recession Bowl" seemed to be more action packed than the New York Football Giants win over the undefeated New England Patriots last season in Superbowl XLII.

Either way you look at it that game we watched tonight was history all around.  It was the first time the Cardinals were involved in a championship game in 61 years, the Steelers now hold the record for the most Superbowl victories, Kurt Warner is one out of only a hand full of quarterbacks to go to the Superbowl with two different teams, Mike Tomlin is only the second black head coach to win a Superbowl and Ben Roethlisburger is the yongest quarterback to win two Superbowls.  It was not a lavish expensive event but it seems like that's what we needed to get back to which is concentrating on the games more instead of who's sponsoring what and everyone trying to out do the next company's billion dollar commercials.  It was just....simplicity.
